Around the World by Private Jet
March 9 - April 3, 2009
October 19 - November 13, 2009
A pyramid of limestone, still the world's largest stone structure 4,000 years after it was assembled. A throng of enigmatic faces carved in volcanic rock, the last remnants of a lost way of life. A monument to eternal fidelity, executed in glittering white marble.
There are places in the world that exist outside time, that embody and surpass the limits of the imagination. Visit nine of them on a single journey as unique as its globe-spanning destinations.
The Wonders of Nature
Bask in the glories of tropical Samoa, and take in the dramatic vistas surrounding Machu Picchu in the Andes Mountains. Sydney's natural beauty includes both spectacular beaches and lush mountain forests, while Wadi Rum's austere landscapes seem to stretch in every direction - a panorama of timeless tranquility.
The Wonders of Culture
Take a break from the splendors of Angkor Wat to meet a family in Siem Reap, escorted by your translator and guide. Visit Bishnoi villagers as they demonstrate their weaving techniques, and learn the nuances of playing the didgeridoo from an Aboriginal master.
The Wonders of Artistry
Walk among the carved moai of Easter Island, visit an Egyptian tomb normally closed to the public and see the monuments that have enthralled visitors for untold generations: the Pyramids, Petra, Angkor Wat, the Taj Mahal, and the Shwedagon Pagoda.

Jan Moester
Jan grew up in the Netherlands and by the age of 21 he had visited every country in Europe while guiding groups of American students. A "real" job followed... but the travel bug had bitten too deeply. Jan soon found himself back in the role of professional guide, much to the delight of the devoted clientele of over 25 private jet programs. He was a Tour Manager on the 2006 South America by Private Jet and 2007 Nine World Wonders.
Han Eryilmaz
A resident of Istanbul, Han Eryilmaz's astonishing grasp of Turkish culture and history - combined with his charming and dryly humorous personality - have made him one of A&K's most popular regional Tour Directors. Degrees in both Mechanical Engineering and Art History have fostered an "analytical and poetical look on life"; his career in travel adds an on-going interest in the world's cultures and religions.
Michael Digby
Born in northern England, Michael's intercultural experiences began with high school years spent in New York State and continued with a stint on an Israeli kibbutz and a move to Seville. Today Michael is an accomplished professional guide, with a special interest in walking tours and other active outdoor programs in Europe.
Ladislas Ciechanowski
Born to Franco-Polish parents in London, Ladislas ("Lado") began his working life as an agriculturalist and estate manager in France and England; he still manages the family farm on a part-time basis. Now a popular A&K Tour Director, Ladislas' linguistic gifts (he has English, Polish, Italian, French and German to his credit) and his informed pan-European outlook make him an ideal travelling companion on the Continent and beyond.
