The 16 one and two bedroom private guest cottages are designed in an open-style plan to take advantage of the view. Generously sized and tastefully appointed bedroom, featuring king-sized beds, that open onto an expansive veranda with a private plunge pool, framed in natural cotton fabric that serves as an indoor/outdoor living room. From your private deck framed in bamboo, you can smell the perfume of the frangipani, or relax in your private plunge pool. You can have a relaxing massage or a meditation/yoga lesson on your private veranda.

LaLuna´s intimate environment of the thatched roof dining room restaurant opens directly onto the beach, offering guests a romantic view of the bay. The intimate size, with a seating capacity for only 48, will provide the perfect ambiance for guests to experience the tempting dishes prepared by the Italian Chef. The cocktail bar curves around the open-air deck lounge and the main pool, creating one of the most idyllic spots on the island. The lounge is a perfect location to recapture the day. It is partially covered with a thatched roof and comfortably furnished with Indonesian daybeds and sofas.

Accommodations

The construction of each cottage is based on an ancient Mediterranean formula in which specially treated cement is individually impregnated with pigments of inviting colours such as warm cinnamon, sienna, and sun-kissed yellow.

The 16 one and two bedroom private guest cottages are designed in an open-style plan to take advantage of the panoramic view of the ocean. Generously sized and tastefully appointed bedroom, featuring king-sized beds, that open onto an expansive veranda, framed in natural cotton fabric that serves as an indoor/outdoor living room. A 31 foot square plunge pool is situated on the veranda.

• The beach front deluxe cottage is located directly on the beach only 40 feet from the waters edge and has its own private lawn.
• The deluxe cottages are free standing, and located above the beach on the hillside only a distance of approx 50 - 80 feet from the beach.
• The cottage suites are semi detached, and are located further 50 - 70 feet above the deluxe cottages.
• The two bedroom cottages are two cottage suites rented together with a connecting door.

The cottages at Laluna are appointed with the amenities sophisticated travelers come to expect from an upscale property, including:

The ocean serves as the backdrop for the bathrooms, which are partially exposed to the natural environment. Each contains large, custom-made showers and are carefully detailed to offer the ultimate comfort. Special touches are evident throughout, from the curvy light fixtures, to the soaps and lotions hand-made and selected for Laluna from a monastery in the Italian Alps.

Due to the open style bathroom you may find some lizards in there from time to time. They are harmless and they feed on flying insects.





Features and Facilities

Main Club House
Serving as the nerve center for the property, the complex consists of several low-lying wooden and cement buildings with overhanging thatched roofs. Open and airy, the Club House overlooks the large fresh-water swimming pool, which in turn overlooks the resort's secluded white sand beach. This building houses the administration offices, reception, bar and restaurant.

Dining
Laluna's restaurant opens directly onto the beach, offering guests a romantic view of the bay. Our intimate size, with a seating capacity for only 48 diners, will provide the perfect ambiance for guests to experience the tempting dishes prepared by Italian Chef Benedetto La Fiura.

The restaurant's unique wine cellar houses popular Italian wines as well as a more select variety from small undiscovered wineries in Italy, most of which will be new to wine lovers in North America. These have been specially chosen to perfectly complement the restaurant's eclectic menu, which will combine fare from the sea with the Italian specialties.

The restaurant is also open to the general public. Reservations are required.

Sunset Bar
The Sunset Bar is a perfect location to recapture the day. It is partially covered with a thatched roof and comfortably furnished with Indonesian daybeds and sofas. The Sunset Bar faces west for maximum 'sunset appreciation'.



Pool Area
The pool is a blue oasis framed by a emerald green sea, located directly on the property's secluded white-sand beach. It is surrounded by a wooden deck, tastefully appointed with teak sun loungers. Guests can take a refreshing dip in the salty sea, and return to enjoy the fresh water or sunbathe along the 5' wide shallow edge of the pool.





Fitness Room
Despite the vast ocean (lap pool), the lengthy beaches (natural treadmill), Laluna offers a fitness room with a treadmill, stationary bicycle, weight machine, free weights and mini step machine, for those who need the gym environment for their work-out routine.

Yoga/Massage
Our resident Yogi can teach you on your private veranda, Yoga, Pilates, Tai Chi, Meditation and other Eastern Philosophies, or you can relax by having a therapeutic massage on your veranda.
